When it comes to rationalizing hard-to-explain occurrences, I prefer to stick with the classics. The orange creature was obviously a weather balloon, and I’m willing to bet swamp gas was also involved.

I just realized that last week I forgot to discuss how one of Safeguard’s teammates is a talking one-eyed dog who can shoot laser beams out of his other eye. Oh well, I guess it’s pretty run-of-the-mill anyway. Moving on!
Why is it that the most appropriate times to panic are also the worst possible times for you to panic?
All right! I thoroughly enjoyed putting that story together. We’ll have more of Safeguard in Space in the next issue, but first, we’ll be returning to our favorite two teenage superheroes in Issue 3’s story: Friction Among Us!
